Bye bye Elmo

It happened.. The first toy sold!! Elmo was first Robbie's then Anghelina's and even enjoyed by our last daughter Alyha. I watched my kids put one of there favorite toys in a milk box and send it away. I think they handled it better than me. I have to admit, it was sort of a wake up call. Until this point nothing in our lives really changed after taking the decision to move to Italy. It was still an idea. But now, the ball is rolling and things are going out the door.

I have no intention to be melodramatic or anything, thats totally not me. But with this, honestly a thousand thoughts passed my mind. Thoughts like, am I a bad father, are we doing the will of God, will I be able to provide for my family. All that from an Elmo!! Go figure.

I realized how important it is to keep my focus on God and all He has planned, because if I don't, it is so easy to freak out.
